The Canadian Spice Association (CSA) is a non-profit, volunteer-led association,  which represents the Canadian spice industry.  Within the framework of this industry, we represent a small, but varied, group of members.

The activities of our members range from growing, importing, processing (grinding, extracting, blending, treatment), and the sales and marketing of SPICES, SEEDS and HERBS for industrial, retail and foodservice use.

In addition, other members direct their activities towards the creation, blending and supply of custom-designed seasonings that are employed by food processors and retail consumers alike.  These blends may consist of spices, seeds, herbs along with a host of functional and non-functional ingredients that create the signature flavour and product profile for any given food.

Our highest priority is to permit and encourage among all our members the maintenance of the highest food safety standards in supplying our products to the Canadian consumer.
